DoRef.com is a referral networking portal focused on entrepreneurs and business owners who can refer businesses to and get referrals of potential customers by their trusted partners. Referral Marketing is considered as one of the most cost effective and efficient way of growing business. With DoRef, users can boost their clientele and credibility. DoRef is a platform which takes word-of-mouth marketing to the next level with a structured approach by empowering users to send and receive referrals from trusted Partners in their island and in turn get rewarded for the same.

We use referrals or word-of-mouth marketing everyday in our life, for instance, if you go to New York for a vacation, you first ask your friend at NY for some references of hotel to stay rather than looking into Yellow Pages at first. Chances are extremely high that you would finally stay in the hotel recommended by your friend! The power of the human voice and human contact are the most powerful communication tools we have. We listen to other people, especially those we know and trust.

With DoRef, we want users to utilize the power of referrals in growing their business exponentially. The objective is that users could use their trusted partners as their purchase managers and as their sales force. With traditional or offline approach, there is a hitch in requesting for a reward in return of an apt referral. But with DoRef, this is done in a well structured manner wherein users could create offers which can then be referred by their business partners who could earn referral fees. Amruta Desai, Co-founder

Amruta conceptualized the idea of DoRef. Being heading the Marketing at Globals, Amruta felt the need of a referral networking portal by which we can mileage our network value and get referrals from our trusted network. Amruta completed her Bachelor’s of Engineering in Bangalore, INDIA and completed a diploma program on Women Entrepreneurship at IIM Bangalore. She steers the Strategy & Global Marketing of DoRef.com

Joerg Elzer, Co-Founder

Joerg brings in a blend of his remarkable technical leadership and managerial skills. Joerg completed his Degree in Media Management at the Macromedia Institute in Germany. He has work experience in the role of Project Management in India and China, and has played the role of Project Manager for few Internet startups in Asia and Europe. Joerg heads the Development team of DoRef.

Suhas Gopinath, Co-Founder

Suhas started his career at the age of 14 years by founding Globals Inc., and since then he has led Globals to a globally recognized IT Consulting company. Suhas currently serves on the board of World Bank Advisory Council for ICT. In 2008, he was recognized as a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, and he attended a Diploma program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Suhas plays a Strategic Advisory role for DoRef.com and represents Globals.
